DNA of Fedas: European cooperation in the sports industry
FEDAS was founded on October 29, 1963 in Paris and has been writing for industry history. In 2018, the Fedas will be 55 years old. It represents the cross-border interests of the sports trade of European countries organized in trade associations, provides services for members and third parties and is the contact point for all questions concerning the European sports trade. The Fedas DNA has been home to European trade-industry cooperation in the sports industry since its founding. Her band name has become her own trademark in the international sporting goods industry.. The 50th anniversary of the Fedas, which in the course of its history significantly came on the state and was involved in the success of large network organizations such as Intersport International or Sport 2000 International, celebrated the Association from 10 to 12. June 2013 in Berne, then the association's headquarters, together with General Secretary Claude Benoit and the Honorary President of the Association Adriano Testa. The Fedas celebrates its 55th anniversary from 2 to 3 July 2018 under the presidency of Werner Haizmann and co-presidency of Michael Nendwich at the current headquarters of the association in Germany in the Hanseatic city of Hamburg. It draws attention to the DNA of the Fedas, which is in constant cooperation with the European Association of the Sporting Goods Industry FESI and the World Fair of Sports of ispo in Munich.

FEDAS is the officially recognized representative of the sporting goods trade at European level.
